President Erdoğan Highlights Economic Recovery at Parliament’s Opening
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made significant statements during the opening of the 28th Term 3rd Legislative Year of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
Macroeconomic Balance Improvements
In his speech, Erdoğan noted that Turkey’s macroeconomic balances were shaken by the COVID-19 pandemic, regional wars, and what he termed “the disaster of the century.” However, he emphasized that Turkey has swiftly entered a recovery process in response to these adverse impacts.
Growth Strategy
The President stated that they will continue to implement strategies to develop Turkey through investment, employment, production, export, and current account surplus for quality growth. He particularly highlighted the importance of the steps taken to ensure and strengthen the country’s economic stability.
