Objective of the Visit
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has returned to Turkey after completing his visit to the United States for the 79th United Nations General Assembly. The visit included important international discussions and events.
Meetings
During his stay in New York, Erdogan met with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres along with several world leaders including German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He also held discussions with prominent figures such as Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani.
International Collaborations
Representing Turkey on the international stage, Erdogan held a meeting with the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, at the Turkevi Center. Furthermore, he organized a roundtable discussion with representatives of American think tanks to exchange ideas on various issues. Additionally, Erdogan engaged with representatives of the Turkish-American community by participating in the Turkish-American National Steering Committee Program.

Alongside his wife Emine Erdogan, the President toured the “Women in Life” photo exhibition organized by the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM) in New York.
