President Erdoğan Attends Graduation Ceremony at Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the graduation ceremony at the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy and delivered a speech. During the ceremony, a total of 774 male, 82 female, and 12 international officers, along with 3,034 male and 215 female sergeants, graduated.
In his speech, Erdoğan stated that a total of 4,117 individuals from various branches, nationalities, and ranks have been assigned to their new posts. He mentioned that, to date, 4,691 officers and 28,878 sergeants have joined the gendarmerie forces from the academy, while 391 officers and 1,116 sergeants have joined the Coast Guard.
Additionally, Erdoğan highlighted that 75 international students from allied and friendly countries successfully completed their education and returned to their homelands, emphasizing that these students have distinguished themselves as honorary ambassadors of Turkey and have reached significant positions.
Expressing his belief that the newly graduated students will further strengthen the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard forces, Erdoğan congratulated all students who successfully completed the 2023-2024 Academic Year, especially those who graduated with honors.
