President Erdogan Asserts the Strength and Unity of the National Alliance in Turkey’s Future
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that the National Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı) will stand firm for the prosperity of Turkey. In his statement, Erdogan emphasized, “The National Alliance, established against the coup plotters on the night of July 15, will remain unwavering for the welfare of our country and our nation.”
Erdogan stressed that the National Alliance serves as the strongest shield to protect Turkey from facing risks, stating, “The most robust shield defending our country, surrounded by a ring of fire, is the National Alliance. It is also the National Alliance that will eliminate all threats to Turkey’s survival.”
Highlighting the collaboration with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Erdogan said, “For the last eight years, we have been carrying out our service struggle for the country shoulder to shoulder with our companion, the Nationalist Movement Party.”
Despite comprising different political parties, Erdogan pointed out that the National Alliance is united for Turkey and its people, “Although the National Alliance is formed from various political parties, it is united, with one heart and soul for the sake of Turkey and our nation.”
Erdogan stated that their stance against attacks on the alliance is clear, “Any attack on a member of the National Alliance is directly an attack on the unity and integrity of the alliance. We do not acquiesce to these attacks. We do not tolerate or allow these assaults.” He also noted that they are aware of the plans being made against them, “We are aware of the game being played. With Allah’s permission, we will not fall into this trap, nor will we let our nation fall.”
The President reiterated the alliance’s unwavering path, “As the National Alliance, we continue on our path without faltering, and we will continue; we will sustain being the hope of Turkey and the Turkish nation for many more years to come.” Emphasizing the struggle and solidarity with the MHP, Erdogan concluded, “Together with our ally MHP and Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, we will continue to unite, remain vibrant, and face all attacks against Turkey and our people, as well as against our parties and the sinister plans and sedition attempts.”
