President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made significant remarks at the 9th International Quran Recitation and Memorization Competition Awards Ceremony.
Addressing the situation in Gaza, Erdoğan stated, “The Gaza genocide has exposed all the masks in the world.” He criticized the Israeli government’s lawless actions and questioned the values upheld by the West.
Furthermore, Erdoğan evaluated the current state of the Islamic world, acknowledging, “As the Islamic world, with a population nearing two billion, we have unfortunately failed the test in Gaza and Lebanon.” With these statements, he highlighted the seriousness of the situation and the responsibilities that Islamic countries bear.
