Organization of Turkic States Begins Election Observation in Azerbaijan
The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has commenced its election observation activities for the upcoming Parliamentary (Milli Majlis) elections in Azerbaijan. The OTS Election Observation Mission, led by Ömer Kocaman, comprises members from the OTS Secretariat and representatives from the central election commissions of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
The mission aims to ensure that the election process is conducted in accordance with international standards and to enhance the transparency of the proceedings. These activities underscore the Organization of Turkic States’ commitment to supporting fair and democratic elections.
By observing the elections and sharing their findings with the public, the observation mission will play a crucial role in monitoring the democratic processes in Azerbaijan.
