BURSA – The newly opened BG Ferrochrome Factory in Bursa aims to meet the Turkish industry’s need for alloy steel production with its 60,000-ton high-carbon ferrochrome production capacity. Additionally, this value-added production is expected to significantly boost Turkey’s exports.
BG Ferrochrome Factory seeks to add substantial value to Bursa’s economy and industry. By producing high-carbon ferrochrome, the factory will supply raw materials to Turkey’s steel industry. This initiative will support domestic production and reduce dependence on imports.
Regarding the factory’s inauguration, the AK Party Bursa Deputy, who is also the Chairman of the Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information, and Technology Commission, stated that the factory would make significant contributions to the city’s and the country’s economy.
With its production capacity and value-added products, BG Ferrochrome Factory will provide a vital boost to both Bursa’s and Turkey’s economy.
