Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command’s Traffic Teams Implement Intense Traffic Measures During Kurban Bayram Holiday
The Traffic Teams of the Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command have taken extensive traffic measures between June 12 and June 21, 2024, during the Kurban Bayram holiday. In this comprehensive initiative, 491 traffic personnel operated on a 24/7 basis, conducting a total of 39 special inspections.
The inspections also included aerial surveillance using helicopters, gyrocopters, and drones. Throughout these checks, 31,060 vehicles were inspected. Furthermore, authorities confiscated 133 driving licenses and impounded 167 vehicles for various violations.
The Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command has informed that they will continue these inspections uninterrupted to ensure the safety of citizens returning from their holiday trips.
