Ministry of Family and Social Services Leads Strike Against Gender-Based Violence
Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, presided over the Data and Statistics Committee Meeting on Combating Gender-Based Violence. In her address, Göktaş emphasized that violence against women is a human rights violation and vowed to combat it resolutely. She stated, “Even a single incident is too many for us,” and underscored that there will be zero tolerance on this issue. The meeting assessed new measures and current strategies to fight gender-based violence, highlighting the significance of data and statistics.
