Minister of Labor and Social Security, Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, issued a message on the occasion of the October 29th Republic Day. Minister Işıkhan emphasized that the proclamation of the Republic is one of the most significant steps in Turkey’s path to modernization.
Highlighting the importance of the holiday, Minister Işıkhan stated, “Our Republic is a symbol of our independence and freedom. It is our duty to protect and uphold this valuable legacy entrusted to us by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.”
Stressing the importance of adhering to the values of the Republic for the development of future leaders, he added, “Our youth are the guarantee of our future. Embracing the achievements of our Republic is a responsibility we undertake as a society.”
Prof. Dr. Işıkhan wished for Republic Day to be celebrated with joy and pride, extending his congratulations to all citizens on this special occasion.
