Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, alongside the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) Command, visited the 2nd Border Brigade Command in Hakkâri Çukurca to celebrate the holiday with servicemen and women. During the visit, Güler had a phone conversation with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, emphasizing the dedication of the soldiers and conveying the President’s holiday greetings.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan highlighted the significant efforts in combating terrorism both domestically and across borders. He stated, “The heroic stories of our soldiers will never be forgotten,” and expressed his wishes for many more holidays together, saying, “I pray to Allah for us to reach many more holidays in good health. I greet you with love and respect.”
The visit and the phone call further underscored TSK’s commitment and dedication to national security. The event was announced by the Ministry of National Defense.
