Major Operation Against ISIS Terrorist Organization Conducted in 17 Provinces
The Interior Minister Mr. Ali Yerlikaya has announced that “GÜRZ-9” operations have been conducted in 17 provinces, including Ankara and Istanbul.
In coordination with the Intelligence Directorate and the Counter-Terrorism Department of the General Directorate of Security, the provincial police departments have executed “GÜRZ-9” operations against the ISIS terrorist organization in the provinces of Adana, Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, Balıkesir, Bingöl, Bolu, Hatay, Istanbul, Kırıkkale, Kilis, Konya, Malatya, Mersin, Muğla, Sakarya, Sivas, and Şanlıurfa.
Over the past five days, these operations have resulted in the apprehension of 65 suspects involved with the ISIS terrorist organization.
Minister Ali Yerlikaya expressed his determination on social media, stating, “Our devoted nation should know that with your prayers and support, we will continue our relentless fight until the last terrorist is neutralized.”
