Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu Responds to Allegations by Cumhur İttifakı
Ankara – CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has made a public statement regarding the slanders and perception operations aimed at him during the election period.
Kılıçdaroğlu stated that certain groups falsely accused him of being favored by “terrorist organizations” during the election and conducted campaigns with fake videos. He also noted that these groups are now attempting to create a perception through reverse psychology by suggesting that “Cumhur İttifakı wants Kılıçdaroğlu to lead CHP.”
Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized that such slanders would not influence the people, saying, “This nation will not yield to terror.” He highlighted tactics like “Let’s make it look like he is side by side with terrorists so that people won’t vote for him. Let’s show CHP members that Kılıçdaroğlu is aligned with Cumhur İttifakı so we can get what we truly want.”
He urged people not to fall into such perception traps, stating, “They don’t want me! And I won’t stand beside them!”
Additionally, responding to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s remarks “Reveal the dagger,” Kılıçdaroğlu criticized, “You’ve held that dagger for many years. On July 15, you brought it and stabbed it into the nation’s back.” Kılıçdaroğlu argued that threats against him and his supporters are moves against national independence and economic goals.
Kılıçdaroğlu concluded his remarks by affirming, “The country will be saved.”
