Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu condemns the attack on CHP Municipal Council Member Şerafettin Bahadır in Kayseri’s Pınarbaşı district. Labeling the assault as “despicable,” Kılıçdaroğlu stated that such incidents serve the interests of gangs and their political extensions striving to turn politics into a field of crime.
In his statement, Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized that the perpetrators’ attempts to utilize pressure and intimidation will be met with continuous legal resistance. He extended his well wishes to Şerafettin Bahadır and urged the residents of Pınarbaşı to steer clear of division traps. Additionally, he called on party members to remain calm.
Kılıçdaroğlu also assured that they would closely follow the legal proceedings initiated by judicial authorities until the end.
