Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu Commemorates 9th Anniversary of the Suruç Attack: “We Still Carry the Pain in Our Hearts”
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the 7th Chairman of the Republican People’s Party, stated that they still carry the pain of the terrorist attack in Suruç, which claimed the lives of 33 young people nine years ago.
In his statement, Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized that they will continue to pursue the case until the perpetrators and supporters of this massacre receive the punishments they deserve both in the conscience of the nation and before the courts.
“We remember each one of them with longing and mercy, and we wish patience to all their loved ones,” he said.
This statement was part of Kılıçdaroğlu’s memorial speech on the 9th anniversary of the Suruç attack.
