İYİ Party Leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu Pays Respects at Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş’s Memorial
İYİ Party General President Müsavat Dervişoğlu visited the memorial tomb of Rauf Raif Denktaş, the founder and first President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
During his visit to Denktaş’s final resting place, Dervişoğlu noted the significant contribution Denktaş made to the nation and his pivotal role in the struggle for independence. Dervişoğlu expressed gratitude and reverence for Rauf Raif Denktaş, who liberated the Turkish Cypriot people from captivity and led the fight for independence.
Serdar Denktaş, the son of Rauf Raif Denktaş, accompanied Dervişoğlu during this visit. Dervişoğlu extended his thanks to Serdar Denktaş for sharing these solemn moments with them.
