Istanbul’s Mayor Boosts Urban Safety with New Projects

Efforts to renew risky buildings in Istanbul continue at full speed. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu emphasized that the projects carried out in collaboration with KİPTAŞ aim to enhance the city’s safety.

A historic tunnel beneath Rumeli Hisarı was uncovered during ongoing construction works. The revelation of this historic tunnel significantly contributes to Istanbul’s rich cultural heritage.

Additionally, İmamoğlu highlighted that 675,000 mothers have benefited from the Anne Kart application so far. This project has made city transportation easier for mothers.

Üsküdar Paşalimanı Social Facility has been opened to the public. The new facility will serve as an ideal location for social events, as well as for relaxation and meetings.

The second phase of Bostancı Çamaşırdere Living Valley has also been completed and opened to the public. This living valley preserves the city’s natural texture with its green areas and provides residents with breathing spaces.

Finally, the Fatih Balat Sports Facilities have been renovated and are now ready for use. These modern facilities will be an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts.
