Indonesian Ambassador Visits Istanbul Shipyard Command to Explore Bilateral Defense Cooperation
Indonesian Ambassador to Turkey, Achmad Rizal Purnama, paid a visit to the Istanbul Shipyard Command. During the visit, Ambassador Purnama was briefed extensively on the shipyard’s shipbuilding and repair infrastructure. Additionally, discussions were held on potential projects, particularly emphasizing the TCG Istanbul frigate.
This visit marks a significant step towards enhancing defense industry cooperation between Turkey and Indonesia. The Ambassador’s visit aimed to assess the shipyard’s capabilities and potential firsthand, as well as to explore collaborative opportunities between the two nations.
