Heroic Commandos Demonstrate Perseverance and Determination in Key Operations
Our heroic commandos are continuing their missions in northern Iraq and the Syrian operation zone with great perseverance and determination.
In celebration of the 2233rd anniversary of our Land Forces Command, a “Commando Endurance Flag Run Competition” was organized in the operation area in northern Iraq, as well as in the garrisons of Diyarbakır and Gaziantep. This competition, representing the 16 Turkish States throughout history, covered a distance of 16 kilometers.
This event was organized by the Ministry of National Defense and aimed to highlight the historical heritage of the Land Forces Command and the endurance of the soldiers on duty.
