Graduation Ceremony Held by Turkish Task Force Command in Somalia
On July 5, 2024, the Turkish Task Force Command conducted a military school graduation ceremony in Somalia. Present at the event were President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Somali Defense Minister Abdulqaadir Mahamed Nuur, Acting Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Mogadishu Armağan Ardoğa, Somali Chief of General Staff Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muidin, and Somali Naval Forces Commander Admiral Abdi Warseme Osman.
The graduation ceremony was hosted by the Turkish Task Force Command in Somalia, where students who successfully completed their military training received their diplomas. This event not only solidified defense cooperation between the two countries but also aimed to enhance Somalia’s security capacity.
