Germany Hosts 2nd NATO Space Operations Commanders Conference, Focusing on Space Security and Warfare
On June 12-13, 2024, the 2nd NATO Space Operations Commanders Conference took place at the NATO Allied Air Command in Ramstein, Germany. Organized by the Combined Force Space Component Command, the event attracted over 125 participants from 26 NATO member countries, two partner nations (Australia and Japan), and 10 different NATO units.
The main theme of the conference was “Space Security and Space Warfare.” Representatives from Turkey, Sweden, and Japan were invited as speakers. Representing Turkey, Major General Kemal Turan, the Operation Chief of the Turkish Air Force, attended the event with his delegation.
Various presentations on military space activities were given during the conference.
