German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock Expresses Concerns Over Gaza Situation, Emphasizes Need for Ceasefire
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has voiced her concerns about the situation in Gaza. Baerbock described the images coming out of Gaza as heartbreaking, stressing that the suffering must end as soon as possible. “This is why we need a ceasefire more than ever,” she said.
The Foreign Minister highlighted the necessity of releasing hostages in Gaza and called on Hamas to accept U.S. President Joe Biden’s solution plan. Baerbock advocated for the establishment of a voluntary and permanent ceasefire.
Additionally, it has been reported that the German Embassy is closely monitoring developments and is working in cooperation with the international community to resolve the issue.
