Forest Fires in Manisa and Uşak Controlled, Cooling Efforts Ongoing
Turkey’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, announced that the forest fires in Manisa Gördes and Uşak Eşme have been brought under control through aerial and ground interventions, with cooling efforts still in progress.
Yumaklı provided an update on the current situation of the forest fires through his social media account, highlighting the ongoing efforts of the teams combating the blazes.
“The forest fires in Manisa Gördes and Uşak Eşme have been controlled with interventions from both the air and the ground. Cooling efforts are continuing. The fire in Aydın Bozdoğan is largely under control. The fires in Izmir Menderes, Muğla Ula, and Yatağan are partially under control,” Yumaklı stated.
