Fire Breaks Out at Paper Factory in Söke, Aydın
A fire erupted at a paper factory in the Söke district of Aydın. In response, two AS-532 Cougar helicopters from the Turkish Armed Forces provided aerial support to efforts aimed at bringing the blaze under control.
While the cause of the fire is still undetermined, fire brigades and military helicopters worked intensively to extinguish the flames. The intervention by the Turkish Armed Forces significantly prevented the fire from spreading further.
As crews continue to work at the scene, residents near the factory have been evacuated as a precaution. Authorities have stated that cooling efforts will begin once the fire is under control and that more detailed information regarding the incident will be shared in the coming hours.
