FETÖ Operations Continue Unabated: 108 Suspects Captured in 29 Provinces

Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has made significant announcements regarding the latest operations against the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ). Speaking on the “KISKAÇ-20” operations, Minister Yerlikaya revealed that 108 suspects were apprehended across 29 provinces. “We will not give any chance to FETÖ members. Our operations will continue with determination for the peace, unity, and solidarity of our nation, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our security forces,” said Yerlikaya.

The operations were coordinated by the General Directorate of Security Intelligence, Anti-Smuggling, and Organized Crime, and Counter-Terrorism Departments. The provincial police departments in Adana, Ankara, Adıyaman, Antalya, Aksaray, Aydın, Bolu, Bursa, Denizli, Eskişehir, Erzincan, Giresun, Isparta, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Kahramanmaraş, Kırşehir, Malatya, Mersin, Muş, Sakarya, Sinop, Siirt, Şırnak, Tokat, and Uşak took part in the “KISKAÇ-20” operations against FETÖ.

During the operations, it was uncovered that the suspects were active in the organization’s so-called “Police Confidential Structure, Military Confidential Structure, and Current Structure.” They were found hiding in cells known as “Gaybubet Houses” and using payphones for communication. The suspects were identified in statements and testimonies and were found to have final prison sentences and arrest warrants against them. A significant amount of foreign currency, Turkish lira, and digital materials were seized during the operations.

Minister Yerlikaya praised the police officers who conducted the operations, saying, “I congratulate our heroic police officers. May God protect you. Our nation’s prayers are with you.”

The operations underscored Turkey’s commitment to continue its efforts against FETÖ without interruption.
