Economic Coordination Board Holds Seventh Meeting for 2024

The Economic Coordination Board conducted its seventh meeting of 2024 to evaluate the achievements following the Medium-Term Program announced in September 2023. The meeting aimed to assess the progress made since the implementation of the program and to discuss the preparation process for a new program covering the 2025-2027 period. This process was detailed in collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders.

The primary objective outlined during the meeting was to further strengthen Turkey’s robust economy, young and skilled workforce, reliable business and investment environment, innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, and infrastructure and technology investments. This, in turn, is expected to reinforce the country’s position on the international stage. The steps to be taken and policies to be implemented under the Medium-Term Program were elaborated upon, with a strong commitment to execution emphasized.
