EBRD and Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek Discuss 5-Year Strategy for Economic Development
Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek announced that during a meeting with members of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Board, they evaluated the “Turkey Strategy” for the next five years as well as potential areas of cooperation. The information gathered at the meeting is expected to help shape projects that will significantly contribute to Turkey’s economic development.
Highlighting the importance of the 20.2 billion euros in financing that EBRD has provided to Turkey so far, Şimşek emphasized that the collaboration with the bank will continue.
