CHP’s Deputy Chair Deniz Yücel Criticizes Turkey’s Economic Woes
CHP Deputy Chair and Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel has voiced criticism over the current economic situation in Turkey. Yücel pointed out that inflation has reached 61.78%, and the rise of foreign exchange rates against the Turkish lira has become a major issue. Highlighting that farmers nationwide are struggling due to increasing fuel prices, Yücel stated that citizens are finding it difficult to meet their basic needs and are alarmingly burdened with credit card debt. Additionally, he stressed that retirees are being condemned to poverty as their living standards plummet. Yücel emphasized that these statistics reflect the pressing economic challenges faced by society.
