CHP’s Deniz Yücel Delivers Harsh Criticism and Reminds the Nation of Past Misdeeds
CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson, Deniz Yücel, made significant remarks, emphasizing that past events and their perpetrators have not been forgotten. Yücel directed strong criticism towards Fetullah Gülen and his supporters, highlighting infamous statements such as “What did they ask for that we didn’t give?”, “Come back, let this longing end,” and “July 15 is a blessing from God.” He underscored that they have not forgotten these words or the stances of the individuals who uttered them.
From the parliamentary rostrum, Yücel pointed out those who praised Fetullah Gülen by saying, “He is a valuable asset raised by this country,” and stressed that these people have not been forgotten either. He criticized those who supported the Ergenekon, Balyoz, and Military espionage cases, which targeted journalists, politicians, academics, and honorable officers of the Turkish Armed Forces. He labeled these cases as conspiracies and stated that they would advocate for the rights of those who were victimized during these processes.
