CHP’s Deniz Yücel Criticizes AKP and MHP’s Governance Policies

Deniz Yücel, Vice Chairman and Spokesperson of the CHP, sharply criticized the governance policies of the AKP and MHP. In a public statement, Yücel highlighted the restrictions imposed on social media usage, street interviews, and various youth activities, while pointing out the permissiveness towards corruption and relationships with terrorist organizations.

Yücel stated:

– “Social media usage: PROHIBITED…

– Street interviews: PROHIBITED…

– Children’s games: PROHIBITED… Youth festivals: PROHIBITED…

– Graduation ceremonies: PROHIBITED… Spring festivals at universities: PROHIBITED…

– Even wearing high heels at graduation ceremonies: PROHIBITED…

Yücel further expressed that while some activities are restricted, other practices are allowed:

– “Corruption, theft, impudence: PERMITTED…

– Negotiating with terrorist organizations, walking hand in hand with them, giving what they want: PERMITTED…

– Killing our animal friends: PERMITTED…

– Condemning retirees to 12,500 liras: PERMITTED…

– Disregarding Constitutional Court decisions, targeting judiciary members: PERMITTED…

Yücel concluded his remarks by saying: “These are the contributions of the AKP and its smaller partner MHP to this country. Do not think that this nation will surrender to your censorship, freedom-restricting, anti-democratic governance. The end is near… Very near…”

Yücel’s statement once again sheds light on his party’s stance and criticisms against the AKP and MHP’s governance. This information reflects CHP’s perspectives and underscores their opposition to current government policies.
