CHP’s Burhanettin Bulut Commemorates Victims on Anniversary of Madımak Massacre

Burhanettin Bulut, Deputy Chairman of the CHP responsible for Public Relations and Media Relations, delivered crucial messages while commemorating the victims on the anniversary of the Madımak Massacre.

In his speech directed at the public, Bulut stated, “The fire was ashamed of being fire, humans were not ashamed of being human… I commemorate our lost souls with love and respect on the anniversary of the Madımak Massacre, a crime against humanity.”

On July 2, 1993, 33 intellectuals lost their lives in the Madımak Massacre, an event that remains a dark stain in history. Burhanettin Bulut emphasized the need to keep the collective memory alive to ensure such a tragedy never happens again.

Bulut highlighted the importance of societal peace and human rights by saying, “I will never forget Madımak, so it doesn’t happen again,” during his speech.

On this anniversary, Burhanettin Bulut reiterated the importance of not forgetting the Madımak Massacre and stressed that society must stay united to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.
