CHP’s Burhanettin Bulut Calls for End to Violence Against Stray Animals
Burhanettin Bulut, a CHP member responsible for Public Relations and Media and an MP from Adana, has drawn attention to the escalating violence against stray animals in Turkey. In his statement, Bulut emphasized that inflicting harm on stray animals is not a solution and should be strongly condemned. He firmly asserted that any legislative proposal including the term “euthanasia” should not be submitted to the Turkish Parliament.
Highlighting the gravity of the issue, Bulut referred to stray animals as “our silent friends” and stressed the necessity of their protection. Following various incidents of violence against stray animals across different regions of Turkey, Bulut underscored the urgent need for addressing this problem comprehensively. He reiterated that stray animals are living beings whose right to life should be safeguarded.
“Slaughtering stray animals is not a solution,” Bulut said, emphasizing the negative impact such acts of violence have on society.
