CHP’s Aylin Nazlıaka Criticizes Reduction in Poverty Budget Allocation Ahead of Parliamentary Discussions

The budget for the Ministry of Family and Social Services will be discussed in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on November 27. CHP Women’s Branch Chair Aylin Nazlıaka, in a statement made prior to these discussions, expressed concern over the decreasing share of the budget allocated to poverty alleviation once again.

Nazlıaka pointed out the insufficiency of social assistance programs directed at the public and the rising poverty rates. Sharing her evaluations on a media platform, Nazlıaka stressed that this critical issue needs greater public discourse.
