CHP Official Condemns Inhumane Animal Euthanasia Practices
CHP’s Deputy Chairman Responsible for Public Relations and Media Affairs, Burhanettin Bulut, has made significant statements regarding animal rights. Bulut expressed strong disapproval towards those who, due to cost concerns, avoid neutering animals and instead spend six times more to euthanize them.
“Let’s not fool ourselves,” said Bulut, emphasizing that such practices are against animal rights. He described methods such as starving animals, forcing them to attack each other, and using bleach to kill them as inhumane.
Expressing CHP General Chairman Özgür Özel’s sensitivity on the matter, Bulut stressed that animals’ right to life should not be violated and called on authorities to seek more humane solutions.
