CHP Leader Özgür Özel Stresses Importance of Independent and Scientific Education Curricula
CHP General Chairperson Özgür Özel participated in the Masters of Respect program organized by the Language Association. This event was dedicated to former Constitutional Court President and jurist Yekta Güngör Özden. At the program, Özel made significant statements regarding education policies.
In his address, Özel emphasized, “A party’s election slogan cannot constitute a national education curriculum. Creating a curriculum is more crucial than drafting a constitution…” He highlighted the importance of independent and scientifically-based curricula in education.
Özel stressed that educational curricula should be free from political influences, noting that education policies are as vital as the constitution. He underscored that education is one of the fundamental factors shaping the future of society.
