CHP Leader Özgür Özel Criticizes Former Istanbul Health Director Over Neonatal Incidents
Özgür Özel, the Chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), expressed his concerns during a statement in the Parliament regarding practices carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Health Director during their tenure. Özel criticized the fact that the individual, who was the Health Director at the time, has come to the Parliament requesting a budget while the so-called “Neonatal Gang” is being prosecuted.

He stated that it’s inappropriate for this individual to hold a position in government without addressing these sufferings. Consequently, he called for the immediate resignation of the concerned person.
