CHP Leader Calls for Unity as He Remembers Madımak Tragedy Victims
CHP’s 7th General Leader, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, urged society to learn to live together in a brotherly manner through a statement on social media. Quoting Metin Altıok, he emphasized that there are too many poems written for the deceased in the country and this situation must end.
Kılıçdaroğlu condemned the ignorance, bigotry, and brutality that led to the deaths of 35 people in the Madımak Hotel fire. He stated that this tragedy is a result of the evil in our society and offered condolences to the 35 victims. Kılıçdaroğlu honored their cherished memories with respect and highlighted the importance of accepting all differences and loving everyone in society.
