CHP Deputy Chairman Deniz Yücel Criticizes Current State of Turkey
Deniz Yücel, Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), has delivered sharp criticisms regarding Turkey’s current situation. Despite promises of peace, prosperity, and happiness in governance, Yücel asserts the country is faced with hunger, poverty, and destitution.
Yücel referenced this period as one where violence and brutality have become commonplace and injustices have been normalized. Highlighting critical issues, he emphasized women’s rights, the economic crisis, children’s rights, food security, animal rights, health, and education as significant problems in Turkey.
Deniz Yücel attributed all these adversities to the 22-year governance choices of the ruling AKP.
