CHP Deputy Chair Burhanettin Bulut Calls for Humane Solutions to Stray Animal Issue
CHP Deputy Chair for Public Relations and Media and Adana Deputy, Burhanettin Bulut, emphasized the need for a solution to the stray animals issue. Bulut criticized the current legislative proposal, describing its introduction to the Parliament as a great act of cruelty. In his view, the issue of stray animals can be resolved without resorting to killing methods.
Bulut’s remarks were supported by many individuals and organizations advocating for the right to life of stray animals. Stressing that proposed solutions should focus on protecting and sustaining animal life, Bulut argued for the enactment of a comprehensive and humane law on this matter.
