CHP Deputy Chair Bulut: Farmers’ Efforts Are Not Sufficiently Rewarded

CHP Deputy Chair and Adana MP Burhanettin Bulut has voiced his concern that farmers are not receiving the recognition they deserve for their hard work.

**What?**
Bulut claimed that the current government is not providing enough support to farmers and laborers.

**Where?**
This statement was made following a visit to a bean field.

**When?**
Although the exact date of the statement was not specified, it was noted that Bulut visited a bean field in the morning.

**How?**
By listening to the grievances of the farmers working in the field and highlighting the price difference of beans from field to market, Bulut emphasized the challenges faced by farmers.

**Why?**
The statement aims to show that farmers’ efforts are undervalued and that the current government is not providing the necessary support.

**Who?**
CHP Deputy Chair responsible for Public Relations and Media Relations, Burhanettin Bulut.

Bulut’s remarks were as follows:

“This morning, I was at a bean field. It’s 8 lira in the field, 120 lira in the Istanbul market… Both the harvester and the producer are unhappy. Because it is the rich man’s party that is in power. They came into power by garnering votes from the poor. Now they don’t even look back at the farmer.”

Bulut emphasized that policies need to be reviewed to ensure farmers receive fair compensation for their work and to achieve a fair distribution of income.
