CHP Criticizes Government Policies over National Symbols
Deniz Yücel, Vice Chairman and Spokesperson for the Republican People’s Party (CHP), has voiced strong criticisms of the government’s policies.

Yücel stated that no previous government has undermined the value of the Turkish passport and the country’s global image as significantly as the current administration, led by the AK Party.

He emphasized that passports, visas, and currency are symbols of national sovereignty, stressing the importance of protecting these values. “Those who have devalued our currency and treated our passport like a notebook have knowingly, willingly, and openly trampled on our national honor and dignity,” Yücel said.

In conclusion, Yücel declared that the AK Party government has lost public trust and suggested that its mandate has effectively expired.
