The Deputy Chairman responsible for Public Relations and Media Relations of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Burhanettin Bulut, issued a statement in honor of the 85th anniversary of Hatay’s accession to Turkey.
In his statement, Bulut commemorated the historical event of Hatay’s unification with Turkey, which Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, famously referred to as his “personal matter,” emphasizing the importance of Hatay to Turkey’s unity and integrity.
