Brotherhood Between Turkey and Azerbaijan Strengthens
Turkey celebrated the Independence Day of its Azerbaijani Turkish brothers on May 28. In a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the enduring unity of the two nations under the slogan “One Nation, Two States” was emphasized.
The Ministry of National Defense highlighted the significance of the strong ties with Azerbaijan in their statement. By recalling the symbolic and historical importance of independence, the Ministry drew attention to the deep-rooted brotherhood relations between the two countries that extend from the past into the future.
May 28 Independence Day marks the day when Azerbaijan achieved freedom and established itself as an independent state on the international stage. On this historic occasion, Turkey’s solidarity with Azerbaijan was underscored in the official statement.
