AK Party Ankara Deputy Fuat Oktay announced that they met with representatives of the Turkish community and Turkish civil society organizations on the last day of their visit to Norway as the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA). Oktay shared insights regarding their ongoing diplomatic engagements.
In the meetings, the demands and issues faced by the Turkish community living in Norway were discussed. Moreover, potential solutions to these problems were also deliberated.
Oktay emphasized the importance of the integration of the Turkish community abroad in political, economic, commercial, educational, social, and cultural fields without losing their identity. He highlighted that such integration should align with their common interests in the countries they reside in.
