AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik Criticizes Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz
AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik has strongly criticized the statements made by Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz regarding the Republic of Turkey and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In his remarks, Çelik described Katz’s comments as “the rants of a genocidal murderer” and emphasized that the Israeli government is the last entity that can speak on behalf of democracy and the free world.
Highlighting President Erdoğan’s stance on Palestine, Çelik stated, “Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the loud voice of the free world.”
Additionally, Çelik compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Katz to Nazis and murderers, arguing that Netanyahu’s government will eventually be tried for their crimes against humanity.
These statements have once again brought the tension between the Turkish and Israeli governments to light.
