AK Party Condemns Remarks by Re-Welfare Party Deputy Leader About President Erdoğan

AK Party Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson Ömer Çelik has fiercely condemned recent comments made by Doğan Aydal, Deputy Leader of the Re-Welfare Party, regarding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In his statement, Çelik denounced Aydal’s remarks that “if Erdoğan does not change the constitution, he will go to another country, to America,” labeling them as ugly, reckless, and disrespectful. Çelik emphasized that President Erdoğan’s courageous stance against guardianship, terrorism, and the FETÖ organization is internationally recognized and appreciated by the nation.

Ömer Çelik declared that such disrespectful comments cross a significant line, stating, “The disrespectful remarks made by Re-Welfare Party Deputy Leader Doğan Aydal about our President are an explicit example of crossing boundaries and expressing nothing but ugliness.”

Çelik affirmed that they will continue to fight against such slander and defamation both politically and legally, just as they have done in the past.
