AK Party Bursa MP and Chairman of the Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission responded to allegations made by a newspaper.
The MP stated, “It has been exactly one month since my call. A slanderous journalist claimed that I have a house in a neighborhood in Ankara where I have never lived, and that I bought a ‘luxury villa with a pool worth more than 100 million liras’ in Zekeriyaköy, claiming to have evidence. I openly challenged him by saying, ‘If you have any integrity, publish the footage of me in the villa with the pool.’ I have been waiting for a month, and not even an AI-generated photo has come. It seems that neither I nor the public can find the integrity we are looking for.”
Continuing his statement, the MP made a call to the Turkish Journalists Association, saying, “I am making a new call to the Turkish Journalists Association here. Protect the honor of the journalism profession. Take necessary actions against this person who blatantly violates your charter and the Declaration of Rights and Responsibilities of Turkish Journalists, trampling on the principles and responsibilities of journalism.”
