Turkish Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee Approves 13 International Agreements in Latest Session
The 28th Legislative Term’s 8th meeting of the Turkish Grand National Assembly’s (TBMM) Foreign Affairs Committee was held. During the session, military and security cooperation agreements with Cameroon, Angola, Tajikistan, Gambia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were discussed. Furthermore, the extension of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) activities in Turkey and the enhancement of trade and investment relations with Ukraine, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Sudan were debated. The meeting also covered the expansion of support from the Council of Europe and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a total of 13 international agreements were approved and forwarded to the TBMM General Assembly. With this approval, the number of international agreements submitted to the TBMM General Assembly by the Foreign Affairs Committee has reached 98.
