Turkey and Kosovo Strengthen Military Cooperation During EFES 2024 Exercise
In a significant development, Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler met with Kosovo’s Deputy Defense Minister Shemsi Syla in İzmir to observe the Distinguished Observer Day of the EFES 2024 Exercise.
According to a statement from the Turkish Ministry of Defense, the meeting aimed to discuss defense cooperation between the two countries. Held within the scope of the exercise in İzmir, the meeting emphasized the goal of enhancing military relations between Turkey and Kosovo.
During the talks, both existing and potential future collaborations in the defense sector were evaluated. The EFES 2024 Exercise, characterized by its multinational participation and extensive military maneuvers, stands out as a significant event.
