President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey visited Kyrgyzstan to attend the 11th Summit of the Turkic Council Presidents, also known as the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). Prior to the summit, President Erdoğan made a significant stop at Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University.
